Carnivore Chicken Soup with Butter and Broth

Enjoy this rich and zero-carb Carnivore chicken soup with butter, broth, and other simple ingredients. To make this delicious soup, you need the following ingredients and instructions.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs or breasts in a large pot and add the water and chicken broth.
  2. Boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the chicken is cooked.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside to cool. Then shred the meat using two forks and discard the bones and skin.
  4. Return the shredded chicken to the pot. Add the salt and black pepper and the butter or ghee.
  5. Let the soup simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. Enjoy warm!
